Questions before you text
What are Breeze Shuttles?
Breeze Shuttles is New Orleans’ free-to-low-cost electric microtransit. We run enclosed GEM electric shuttles — GPS-tracked, trained drivers — for students, locals, and visitors. Started in 2023 around Loyola and Tulane; now Uptown, Garden District, French Quarter, Frenchmen, with expansion toward the FSU / Tallahassee corridor.
How do I book a ride?
Text or call 504-462-4020. Share pickup and drop-off. We will get you moving. There is no checkout on this website.
Where does Breeze operate?
Primary service area is Uptown New Orleans, with a focus on Loyola and Tulane, plus Garden District, French Quarter, and Frenchmen — hotspots for nightlife and convenience. Ask about Tallahassee / FSU hours.
What are the hours?
Tuesday to Sunday, 5 PM to 2 AM. VIP and event charters can run off-hours.
Are rides free?
The current model is free-to-low-cost, funded by advertising and sponsors rather than rider fares. Occasional promotions may still appear. No surge pricing.
What rules do I accept before a ride?
Wear your seatbelt. Stay inside the vehicle while it is moving. Do not stick any body parts outside. Breeze may refuse service if you are too intoxicated. See Terms & conditions.
How does Breeze prioritize safety?
Eco-friendly GPS-equipped vehicles, trained drivers, onboard cameras, and the rules above. Your safety and satisfaction are the point of the service.
Is there an app?
An app is preparing to launch (booking, tracking, nearby events). Breeze is a Yelo Fleets partner; vehicles already carry Scan to ride / powered by Yelo signs. Until store listings are live, text 504-462-4020.
How do I advertise or partner?
Email breezeshuttles@gmail.com or use the form on Advertise. Wraps, in-vehicle video, flyers, event takeovers, Greek life, festivals.
